2023 Gender Equality Index

22 March 2023

AGILINK publishes its 2023 Gender Equality Index (referring to the year 2022) on its French entities of more than 50 people.

In France, the Equality Index was designed as a simple and practical tool to advance equality between women and men within the company. Each year, all enterprises with at least 50 employees must calculate and make it public.

The Index is rated on 100 points. It is calculated from four indicators for enterprises with 50 to 250 employees:

  1. The pay gap : comparison of average earnings of women and men, by age group and socio-professional category or other job classification: 0 to 40 points ;
  2. The difference in the distribution of individual increases between women and men : 0 to 35 points ;
  3. Percentage of employees increased upon return from maternity leave : 0 or 15 points ;
  4. The distribution between women and men among the ten highest remunerations : 0 to 10 points.

For each of these indicators, criteria apply to validate or not the possibility of calculating, based on the representativeness of the data and the guarantee of confidentiality.
To be valid, the computable indicators must total at least 75 points.

Unfortunately, the 2023 index for AGILINK CABLES and AGILINK IVRY could not be evaluated because the computable indicators represent less than 75 points. Indeed, the pay gap could not be calculated because all valid groups (that is to say, with at least 3 women and 3 men) represent less than 40% of the workforce.

At AGILINK, our commitment to equality and diversity is part of our core values, and we work every day to promote and respect these principles across the company’s sites.
