Agilink’s industrial activities are divided into two branches, the manufacturing of cables and cords.
In all cases, there will be a study phase involving different technical proposals and exchanges, and, if necessary, the production of prototypes. Multiple measurements are carried out on the conformity and performance of the products in our two specialized laboratories, in particular sealing tests, thermal cycle and climatic testing, and the most advanced electrical and optical performance tests, including EMC.
The design and manufacturing of cables calls upon a wide range of technical skills such as conductor stranding, wiring, extrusion, taping, braiding and armouring.
The wide range of components, and especially the careful selection and use of polymers, the multiple and repeated combinations of manufacturing steps combined with a detailed knowledge of the lengths required mean an infinite number of different simple and complex products can be offered, to cover all applications , in diameters ranging from about 0.1 mm to 50 mm.
The design and manufacturing of cords involves technical skills including length-cutting, tinning, welding, crimping and overmolding.
Once again, judicious selection of the components necessary and the multiple steps in the assembly, inspection and testing processes mean it is possible to precisely meet every specific need.
We also offer integrated products and solutions that draw on our expertise in wiring and assembly in all its forms, e.g., for connection boxes.
